HER STORY .
Born as the only child of the eldest son in the Kagami clan from the far East, Hira was loved as a child and had an ordinary childhood. That is, until her evol manifested one afternoon, during spring, with her rabbits and her Mother’s doves and immaculate iceberg roses as victims and witnesses. The accident left a permanent mark on her psyche and her relationship with her parents and family, making her life fractured early.Once was adored, she became the clan’s “cursed child”—the first to manifest haemokinesis in a lineage known for healers and light Evol users. Her playtime was replaced with spirit cleansing and discipline from the elders. Music lessons gave way to doctor visits and therapy sessions, all designed to suppress her Evol and preserve the family name.Tired of being their puppet, tired of chasing perfection, obeying the rules and orders just to keep the dirt off their family name, she escaped home at the age of eighteen. With nothing but rage, the desire to be free, and her dreams, she fled to Linkon using the money she had managed to save up. Her family pursued her for a year, dragging her back repeatedly, until her father, the only one who still cared, in his own distant way, intervened. They agreed to let her go, on the condition that she abandon the family name and be cut off financially. Her father’s parting gift: an apartment.

In Linkon, Hira joined the Hunter’s Association a year after and became a Deepspace Hunter. She trained, favoring the blades over the guns, learning how to use her Evol as a useful tool and weapon, honing and mastering it. Finding others who also have unusual Evol as hers was liberating, making her feel that she is not an abomination, a curse, unlike what her clan has implanted in her young brain. Mission after mission, she had proved her skills, swift, silent, and deliberate, earning her the alias “Phantom Navigator” among her peers.But good things don’t last. A tragic mission unraveled everything. Declared mentally unfit for field duty, she spent a year in a psych facility. Though no longer active, the Association refused to release her, fearing what her Evol could do if left unchecked or worse, if Ever got to her. Now, she’s subjected to mandatory yearly evaluations.That incident seemingly set off a chain of loss in her life. She lost her best friend in that mission which made her go into psychosis. Her engagement with the man she had been with for years was called off years later. A year after that? Her mother died of sickness, followed by her father passing months after due to grief.
